Flying Saucers is Bristol’s largest independent pottery-painting venue. Since 2008, we’ve offered a creative escape for people of all ages and abilities. Simply choose a piece of blank pottery, paint your own masterpiece and leave it with us to glaze and fire. We promise a creative experience that’s out of this world—but in Bristol.

How it works

Pre-book it

Book your table and pay the £6 studio fee. This gives you up to 2-hours painting time.

Pick it

Select and purchase your pottery item(s) and decide how you want to paint it.

Paint it

We’ll explain how painting works, show you all the tools we have and answer any questions.

Fire it

Collect your fired and glazed pottery in 7 days or arrange delivery if needed at an extra cost.

Pricing

Studio Fee

£6 per person

Our Studio Fee covers two whole hours in the studio, painting, glazing and firing. It is payable in advance to secure your table.

Pottery Prices

£12 – £40 each

Pick and pay on the day. We are always updating our selection, so prices vary, but a mug, plate or bowl typically costs around £20.

We do baby prints! Their cute, adorable, precious, kissable little hands and footprints are carefully stamped onto your chosen piece. Let us know when you’re booking that you are doing baby prints and we’ll be ready!

We love pets! Bring them for paw prints! Immortalise the cuteness! Let us know when you’re booking that you are doing pet prints and we’ll be ready!

Our toilet is on the ground floor. By the way, our ground floor space is limited, but we have two more floors of painting space!
